High School Career

Kareem attended St. Mary's Preparatory School at the age of thirteen. He started all four years as the teams leading point guard. During his time at OLSM:

• Averaged 16.9 points, 8.2 assists and 6.5 rebounds per game in leading Orchard Lake St. Mary’s to a 20-5 (.800) record as a senior.
• Orchard Lake St. Mary's claimed the 2022 Catholic League championship and regional title and made a state quarterfinal appearance.
• Named to the 2022 Associated Press All-State FIrst Team as well as the All-Metro First Team.
• One of five finalists for the Hal Schram Mr. Basketball award.
• Helped OLSM to three district titles and two regional, city and conference championships.
• OLSM earned the No. 1 rank in the state three consecutive years with Rozier at the point.
